Tina Bradshaw

Tina Mae Evans Bradshaw, 97, passed into heaven Aug. 28, 2024, in Dexter, Missouri.

She was the daughter of Henry Clay Evans and Sarah Carros Jackson Evans. She grew up in Puxico and attended school there. After high school she attended business college in St. Louis.

She married Elmon “Brad” Bradshaw in 1946 and they were married for 47 years.

For most of her married life, Tina and Brad lived in the St. Louis area where Tina worked for American National Insurance. When Brad retired, they moved to the “country” of rural Advance. During their retirement years, Tina was happiest when she could spend time with her mother and sister, Norma, on their outings together. She also enjoyed attending church, writing meaningful letters, cooking nutritious meals, listening to gospel music, and spending time with family.

Throughout her life, Tina was known to have a sweet demeanor. She was a caring listener and a patient, unassuming lady. She had a strong faith in God and a belief in the goodness of people. She never said an unkind word about others and she always looked for their positive qualities. Tina’s integrity was a part of her manner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister, Norma Sifford.

Remaining to mourn her loss are her niece, Sandra Sifford Denbow, a great-nephew, Devlin Denbow, brother-in-law, George Sifford and beloved relatives, Maebell and Alvin Schearf and Dale Wiseman.

Graveside services was to be held at Fairview Cemetery Puxico, Missouri with Rev. Dale Wiseman officiating at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024, with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service in charge of all arrangements.
