Area schools wear hats for Drake Guffy

Area schools rallied behind a Puxico student and his family this week raising over $2,700 to help with medical and other expenses. Puxico High School student Drake Guffy was seriously injured in a UTV accident over the weekend. On Wednesday of this week Dexter, Advance, Bloomfield and Bernie students could wear a hat to school for $1. All money collected went to Drake and his family.

Advance students who wished to participate gathered in the high school gym prior to class Wednesday to pray for Drake and his family.
The Dexter High School news anchors showed their support on the air. One anchor wore a hat while the other wore a Drake Guffy sticker on her shirt.
