Fourth of July Kids Parade in Dexter

The 4th of July Kids Parade was held Tuesday morning. Kids decorated their bike, scooters, skates and more to go down the parade route. The parade stopped at the post office steps where the kids said the Pledge of Allegiance, sang Happy Birthday to Dexter in honor of the city's 150th birthday and the national anthem was played. The parade ended at the home of Mayor Jason and Kristi Banken for lemonade and cookies.
