Raymond L. Hood of Saint Charles, Mo., died Friday, August 28, 2015, at the age of 89. He was the son of the late Fenton and Thela Hood. He is survived by his wife, Gloria Hood; seven children, Terry (Shirley) Hood, Della (Kent) Ostendorf, James "Jim" (Lisa) Tooloose, Rita Tooloose, Colette (Dean) Ferrell, Jeff (Beth) Hood and Phillip Hood; one niece, Sherry (Ralph) Murphy; six grandchildren, Shanon (Brian) Wahoff, Ensign Christopher (Lesleay) Hood, Brian (April) Ostendorf, Jennifer (Andrew) Dour, Kyle Allen and Tyler Hood; two step-grandchildren, Logan (Tiffany) Monroe and Dakota Monroe; great-grandfather of six with one on the way; two brothers, Porter Hood (Paula Courtney) and Dean (Aizhen) Hood and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.. ...

Eddie Lee Gay, was born March 3, 1930, and died at the Golden Living Center in Malden on Aug. 30, 2015, at the age of 85. Arrangements are under the direction of Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Dexter.

Doris F. Mowery, died on Aug. 30, 2015, at her residence in Bloomfield, at the age of 70. Services have not been scheduled at this time. Arrangements are being handled by the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
