Collector's office asks resident to watch their mail for tax statements

Stoddard County Collector Josh Speakman said in a news release the personal property and real estate

tax statements for Stoddard County were be placed in the mail the week of November 1. Speakman asked that Stoddard County residents watch their mail for these statements. The due date for payment of these statements is December 31.

Residents have a few payment options. Payment can be made in person at the Stoddard County Collector's Office in Bloomfield Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Stoddard County Collector’s Office will be open December 31 the last day of the year, which is also the due date for the tax statements.

Speakman is encouraging residents to visit the collector's office website website at www.stoddardcocollector.com for payment processing. The collector's office drop box is open 24/7 for convenience. It is located at the government building on the north side of the double door main

entrance.

Receipts will be mailed back to the tax payer for all online, drop box, and mailed in payments.
