Source of explosion heard on Central Drive identified

The Dexter Police Department and the Stoddard County Juvenile Office have identified the source of the explosion heard on Central Drive on January 16.

The Dexter Police said in a social media release that several juveniles were interviewed and admitted to setting off fireworks. The release said no injuries were reported and the investigation is closed.
