Dreigha Smith

Dreigha Smith, daughter of Rickie Smith of Batesville, Arkansas, and the late Linda Hutchcraft-Montgomery, was born Aug. 27, 1971, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and departed this life May 3, 2024, at her residence in Wappapello, Missouri, at the age of 52 years.

Ms. Smith was a former employee of the Missouri Department of Health in Butler County and she was a member of the Rogers Theater Stage Company in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She enjoyed art, and she loved horses, fishing, and gardening.

Along with her father, she is survived by her son, Cole Marshall Bearden (Sol) of China; her grandmother, Doris Hutchcraft-Owens of Dexter, Missouri; her stepbrother, Bryan Kimmer (Crystal) of Batesville, Arkansas; and her special friends, Bob and Debbie Libla.

Other than by her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Kathy Smith.

Funeral services were conducted at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter May 8, 2024. Internment followed in Sadler Chapel Cemetery in Dexter.
