Stoddard County Sheriff's Department presents Eddie Eagle program at Bernie Elementary

Officer Andrew and Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner presented the gun safety program "Eddie Eagle" to the third grade students at Bernie Elementary.  Students received certificates for completing the program, a booklet about gun safety, a sticker and a color sheet of Eddie Eagle.  Students will turn in the color sheet to be judged. The winner of the coloring contest will receive a plush Eddie Eagle.  Bernie Elementary would like to send a big thank you to Sheriff Hefner and his officers for all they do.
