Dexter High School Crowns Miss DHS 2020

Mekenzie Yount -  Mekenzie is the daughter of Michael and Melissa Yount. Mekenzie's school activities include varsity volleyball, softball, pep club, FCCLA, and FCA. Mekenzie’s future plans are to attend college and continue her volleyball career and get a degree in business. Mekenzie's escort is Kaeden Kennedy. Kaeden is the son of Joe and Kerry Kennedy. He describes MeKenzie as caring, loving, and beautiful.

Tara Williams -  Tara is the daughter of Ben and Kendra Williams. Tara is a member of varsity band, student council, National Beta Club, National Honor Society, HOSA, Rotary Interact, Scholar Bowl, and she is in the top 10% of her class. After graduation, Tara plans to attend Missouri State University and major in respiratory therapy. Tara's escort is Nate Harris, the son of Michael and Christy Harris. Crowning Miss DHS 2020 was Delaney Lemmon, Miss DHS 2019. Delaney is the daughter of Shannon Lemmon and JJ Lemon. She is a freshman at Southeast Missouri State University where she is majoring in elementary education. Delaney is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority, the red cross club, and the Christian Outreach Organization. In the future, Delaney hopes to be a second grade teacher. Delaney's escort is Seth Malloy. Seth is the son of Bucky and Deanna Malloy. He describes Delaney as faithful, beautiful, and selfless.
