Bernie Schools recognize students at Honors Ceremony

Bernie senior John Nimmo opened the ceremony with a moment of inspiration and a prayer.

Bernie School Board president Judy Zoll presents retired Bernie kindergarten teacher Myra Weeks with the hall of fame award.

The guest speaker was 2000 Bernie graduate Stephanie Aul.

Honor students grade 4 - Kasen Blevins, Eryn Brock, Cason Lively, Chloe Spears, Mikinley West and Nolan Williams.

Honor students grade 5 - Benjamin Harris, Ashtin Hicks, Madison Markin, Kinley Nash, Abigail Osborn and Eli Waltrip.

Grade 6 - Mena Abernathy, Shaelynn Berger, Jerrica Bridges, Carson Nash, Lynlei Owens, Kiley Pratt, Alisyn Simpson and Caden Vise.

Grade 7 - Jonathan Aycock, Haley Beasley, Keagen Condict, Elijah Crow, Cane Hobgood, Jessica Lacy, Ashynn Markin, Haleigh Parish, Payton Proctor, Maddieson Riddell and Allison Vessell.

Grade 8 - Brooklyn Cannady, Alexa Dillinger, Bridgett Frazier, Ella Harris, Leightin Hicks, Blair Pleimling, Liliana Robinson, Colton Smith, Brayden Vaughn and Emma Vise.

Freshman - Cade Arnold, Rylan Atkinson, Kerri Botsch, Macie Botsch, Baily Henry, Cody Morgan, Blake Nash and Rylie Powell.

Sophomores - Christopher Abbey, Destiny Crow, Hunter Grimes, Lucas Kegley, Hannah Moore, Abbygail Powell, Dawson Riddell, Maisie Stevens, Lexy Taylor and Piper Winstead.

Juniors - Joel Aycock, Lilly Bridges, Caitlyn Charles, Megan Cobb, Kalijah Coleman, Mackenzie Hill, Tristan Johnson, Reece Justice, Johnnie Meyer, Nathan Stevens, Mallory Stevens and Presley Watkins.

Four seniors were honored for receiving honors from 4th through 12th grades. They are Bailey Cannady, Anna Eaton, John Nimmo and Mallory Rodgers.
