Bernie man held in stabbing incident

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. - A Bernie man is behind bars today following a Monday stabbing on Walter St. in Bernie. Coby Dewayne Morlan, 25, is charged with the Class A felonies of as-sault in the first degree causing serious physical injury and assault in the first degree in an attempt to kill or cause serious physical injury. He is also charged with the unclassified felony of armed criminal action. He is currently being held in the Stoddard County Jail facing a $75,000 cash-only bond...
