Out of an abundance of caution due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Dexter Homecoming Tailgate scheduled for Sept. 25 has been cancelled. The cancellation was requested by the Dexter School District. “Due to the concerns with COVID-19 and trying to safeguard students and community members,” said Dexter Superintendent Amy James, “We have decided to cancel the tailgate.”...

Stoddard County now has moved to 251 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 18 active, 224 recoveries and 9 deaths.
